We belong to this community and we feel it is our duty to give back in a variety of ways. We financially support a number of local charities, we regularly host free performance enhancement clinics for young athletes, and we each individually participate in our community to make it a better place to live.
Mr. Ennis is a national award-winning Olympic Class Certified Athletic Trainer. He received his masters’ degree from Austin Peay State University after completing undergraduate work at East Tennessee State University.
Mr. Ennis has developed athletic healthcare and sports performance programs for the Van Der Meer Tennis University and the Golf Academy of Hilton Head Island along with many others. Programs designed to prevent injury and improve performance are his specialty.
He has served his profession at local, state, and national levels. He is past president of the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association (SCATA). He served as an A.C.O.G. Athletic Trainer during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, Coordinator of Player Care at the 2004 Canada Cup and as Director of Player Care for the 2010 World Junior Baseball Championships. Mr. Ennis has been presented with many awards during his career including the SCATA’s Founders Award (Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer) and in July of 2016 he was presented SCATA’s most prestigious award, the Fred Hoover Award for Excellence in Athletic Training along with being inducted into the SCATA Hall of Fame.
Mr. Ennis currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Athletic Trainer Advisory Committee and has been a committee member since 2004.
Mr. Ennis enjoys working with athletes of all ages and skill levels.
